Billing

Each paid application has its own subscription and invoices from Uploadfile. Card details go straight to our payment processor, and Uploadfile never stores full card numbers. The Free pool belongs to the organization, not to each application. Prices are in USD, and the payment form shows any tax before you pay.

Launch is $59 a month, Growth is $269 a month, and Scale is $1,099 a month. The pricing page lists each plan's four included allowances.

Uploadfile issues an invoice for each charge, a receipt for each payment, and a credit note for each refund. Pay as you go applications also get a monthly usage statement. Each document keeps the seller details, your billing details, and the tax rate from the day it was issued.

Owners and Billing members open documents from the Billing page. Select PDF next to a document to download a copy, or open the document to print it. The file name is the document number, for example UF-INV-2026-000042.pdf.

New paid capacity and upgrades start after the payment succeeds, and upgrades are prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period. Uploadfile never extends a cancelled subscription to keep stored files.

Billing users manage the saved card and invoice details, and download invoices and receipts, on the Billing page. Plans change only after Uploadfile verifies the payment, not when the payment form closes.

Owners and Billing members enter a discount code when they choose a plan, or later in the Billing discount area if the code allows it. A code applies to one application. It reduces plan fees, overage, or the whole invoice, before tax, for one invoice, a number of billing periods, or with no end date.

An application has one discount at a time, and discounts never combine. Billing shows the active discount and when it ends, and each invoice shows the discount on its own line above the subtotal. A fixed amount larger than the invoice reduces it to zero, and the rest isn't kept as credit. A discount ends when its application moves to another organization.

On Pay as you go, a discount reduces usage as Uploadfile takes it from prepaid funds. At 20% off, usage takes 80% of its listed price from funds. Adding prepaid funds is never discounted, and the monthly statement shows the discount line.

Uploadfile reconciles usage during a 48-hour close window. It waives usage that arrives after the close instead of billing it later. Invoice cents follow the configured rounding rule after fractional quantities are calculated.

Tax depends on the merchant setup and your details. Don't infer a tax exemption, tax registration, or exchange rate from the USD list price.

Pay as you go replaces Launch, Growth, or Scale for one application. It costs $0 a month plus usage, with no included usage and no subscription. Uploadfile takes usage from the application's prepaid funds at the rates in Usage and limits. Prices exclude applicable taxes.

Starting Pay as you go requires $10 of prepaid funds, and every top-up, manual or automatic, is exactly $10. The payment form shows the amount due, including any tax, before you pay. Unused funds carry forward and don't expire. Funds belong to the application and the organization that paid for them. Uploadfile never uses them for subscription charges, and they don't move with an application transfer. Uploadfile support handles refund requests for unused funds.

From Free, Pay as you go starts once Uploadfile verifies the funding payment, and the application leaves the organization's shared Free pool. From a subscription, it starts at the end of the current paid period. Switching from Pay as you go to a subscription starts a new paid plan right away, charged to your card. Stopping Pay as you go takes effect immediately and returns the application to the Free pool, or to the usual 30-day export and cleanup window if its files don't fit.

Automatic top-up is off by default. When you turn it on, you authorize Uploadfile to charge your saved card $10 whenever the application's available funds fall below a trigger you choose, up to a monthly limit you choose, including when you are not signed in. The trigger is between $1 and $50 and defaults to $5. The monthly limit is between $10 and $1,000 in $10 steps and defaults to $50. If funds are already below the trigger, a top-up starts right away.

Uploadfile never retries a declined card on its own. If a payment fails or your bank asks you to confirm it, automatic top-up pauses and Billing shows the payment to complete. You can turn automatic top-up off at any time in Billing, and it stops immediately.

• New uploads and ordinary downloads pause.
• Billing, deletion, cleanup, and authenticated export stay available.
• Uploadfile keeps files for 30 days with no further storage charges, then deletes them permanently unless you add funds.
• Adding funds restores service.

Each funding payment has a funding request and, once paid, a prepaid funding receipt. Uploadfile charges any applicable tax at that point. Each statement period also produces a prepaid usage statement listing storage, downloads, resident files, and request units. A statement records usage already paid from prepaid funds and is never a request for payment.

Statement lines are exact to a fraction of a cent and display four decimal places, so the cents shown can differ slightly from the exact total.
